Nike releases new windbreaker - Golf.se

«Back to blog

Written by February 19, 2014 13:54.

At the end of last summer released the Nike Golf’s new raincoat Hyper Adapt. Now comes the next Hyper ADAPT product in the form of a windbreaker, as you see above. Wind jacket has the same four-way stretch material that rain jacket to provide the same comfortable feeling when you wear it. Otherwise it is a lighter jacket than last year’s rain-model, however, is windproof and water repellent to fit well on vårronderna.

In addition to the colors above are the jacket even in color Turf Orange / Black and the recommended price in shop is 1 100.

Incidentally, it is quite funny how Nike in its press release for the new wind jacket notes that “Baggy, bigger and bulky used to be the standard go-to for outerwear on the golf course. Nike Golf changed thatwith the Hyper Adapt Storm-FIT jacket in 2013 ‘. Well, we may well be content to say that humility might not have been the most important property to establish itself as one of the world’s biggest brands.

Adidas blocking gay and lesbian - Aftonbladet

Want to make your Adidas little more personal?

It goes just fine.

If you do not use words like gay and lesbian.

Adidas today customers to customize their sneakers online. In the online service Miadidas skoköpare can choose the color and type in his name on the shoes.

But Adidas does not allow anything. The company has banished words like gay, gay, lesbian and bisexual. Straight, the English word for heterosexual goes well, however, writes news website Pink News.

Impossible to use the words negative

background is that blocking makes it impossible for people to use the word in a negative manner. That gay is not just another word for homosexual, but also a common English name, is less important.

– The fear is that the word “gay (s)” can easily have the prefix “I hate” and then we end up in a difficult situation. It is unlikely that the word “straight” is being misused, says a spokesperson for Adidas to Pink News.

At competitor Nike, offering the same service, do not hesitate to write both gay, lesbian and transgender.

Preschool Photos and Red shoes! - Västerbotten Courier

 017

class=”c2″> Happened to listen to “Ring P1″ the other day. Fortunately, I ate not just then, or I’d definitely choking:

It rang namely a woman and was offended by the municipality decided that it would no longer allow “school photos” at nursery, kindergarten or as it was called before. (Perhaps regards the school as well, but the post was about preschools.) This is to protect children with a protected identity. A good decision I think. It did not like the woman. And – after talking about this for a moment she said something like that soon becomes well someone offended that someone has red shoes, and so will be well also prohibited.

But please! To compare the need to protect children who may get hurt – really hurt – with not liking a skofärg! Where are the proportions? Now I listen to so often on this program, but I hope that there were many who responded and called in protest against the absurdity of the argument.

Kindergarten Photos by the way – who cares, and who is it fun? And what need is there of it today, as it photographed more than enough in every conceivable context. Is much to say about this, but back to the pre-school photos. Myself have not worked in kindergarten, but know those who have it. (Having just had a son there, which was moderately amused by fotandet.) They have told about parents who had brought extra clothes, which they wanted to kindergarten staff would switch right before fotandet. Plus wash, comb, etc. Make it in minutes in twenty children, who probably prefer (many of them in each case) wants to play, but sit and look pretty for the camera.

Oh yes, I know that children are different – and that many may have thought it was funny with the photos then came, trade with each other, etc. … But – in today’s world of photos can hardly be difficult to arrange anyway. Feel like skolfotandet is a bit of a relic from ancient times, as it is high time to do away with! And please – do not shoot the children who do not want to be photographed! No matter what the reason is! But especially for the children and fathers who have it tough enough anyway, with having to constantly keep in mind to not be seen externally:

And feel free to use red shoes – if you like the color, of course!

Threatened with the loss of wages - for dirty shoes - Aftonbladet

The employees at the art gallery Artipelag in Värmdölandet recently received e-mail from company CEO Bjorn Jakobson.

In the email it said that dirty shoes on the premises would provide a monthly payroll deduction.

– It was meant as a joke, says Björn Jakobson DN.

Björn Jakobson is best known as the founder of the carrier “Baby Bear”.

Now witnessed by several of the employees about poor working at his art gallery.

Aftonbladet has taken note of the mailing in late January was sent from the front desk to employees.

“Björn Jakobson sounds health of all employees that there will be a monthly deduction from salary if you get caught not to brush and wipe off their shoes before entering the building. sure this, “reads the email that was sent out to 250 employees.

“They do not know how we’re treated”

The art gallery opened two years ago and is situated in a beautiful setting in the archipelago in Värmdölandet outside Stockholm – but behind the beautiful environment is painted a different picture up of workplace.

– Visitors can come back and say I should be happy working here, and it’s a fun job, but they do not know how we are treated, says one of the hourly-paid employees to DN.

– If a manager is capable of sending out this kind of mail to 250 employees, he is also able to pull in someone’s salary, says the same person to DN.

– I read through it several times and I think it’s creepy. It is the first time we have received a written threat, says another employee.

Insecure employment

According to another member of one of the problems that most of Artipelag are hourly employees.

She complained myself about how she was treated on the job and then got a phone call from management who explained that she did not have to come back next month.

– If you have a casual employment can not be fired; but what happens is that you do not get more passes.

Anna Steen, negotiating the union DIK, academics tray of Culture and Communication takes seriously the mail.

– There is a synnerligt unprofessional way of handling personnel. If the threat is executed, it is a violation of the employees’ contracts, she says to DN.

“Mixes always joke and earnest”

Björn Jakobson cuts out the accusations.

– I feel that everyone who works here really enjoy. I have good contact with the staff and they know that I always appreciate a dialogue if they have any comments.

And the mail is according to Jakobson a joke.

– I always mix jokes and seriousness , that all know this, he says to DN.
